Step 1: Open your PowerPoint presentation

In this example, we’re using a slide from a BCG report. The slide contains data about 3G and 4G internet connectivity in Indonesia.

Step 2: Open Chat PPT from the Slidely AI sidebar

You can directly ask it to make edits to your slide.

Step 3: Give specific instructions to Chat PPT

In this case, we’re asking it to create short headings from the points on the left and add icons to them. We’re also asking it to convert the tables on the right into column charts. Specify the data you want to highlight in your charts. For the first chart, we’re keeping only the 4G signal data and highlighting Java and Bali. For the second chart, we’re combining the 50 to 100 and 100 plus categories and highlighting Java, Bali, and Sumatra. We’re also asking Chat PPT to use a separate color for the national value in both charts for easy comparison.

Step 4: Wait for Chat PPT to process your instructions

It usually takes about 40 to 60 seconds to make changes to a slide. You can continue using PowerPoint as normal during this time.

Step 5: Add the edited slide

Once Chat PPT has finished processing, click on “Add slide”. This will add the edited slide as a separate slide in your presentation, without altering the original slide.

Step 6: Review the changes made by Chat PPT

In this example, it has chosen appropriate icons, colored the national averages, and added subtitles to each of the charts.
